The 2025 Mini Cooper EV comes with a facelift, extended range, and a modernized interior, aiming to enhance the driving experience for electric vehicle enthusiasts.

The Cooper EV range includes two variants: the Cooper E and Cooper SE. According to European cycle test calculations, the Cooper E has a range of 190 miles, while the Cooper SE — 250 miles. However, these figures could change to 175 and 215 miles, accordingly, after EPA cycle testing.

One of the distinguishing features of the new Cooper EV is the round OLED touchscreen, which replaces the conventional rectangular screen used in previous models. The OLED screen also introduces Spike, a computer-generated dog that acts as a full voice assistant.

Mini offers "Mini Experience Modes," which allow drivers to adjust the car's handling and responsiveness. In sync with these modes, the interior lighting, instrument cluster, and OLED screen change colors to match the chosen vibe.

Voice control is activated by saying "Hey Mini" and can be used for navigation, phone calls, in-car entertainment, and various vehicle functions. The car can also learn from a driver's routine, such as automatically rolling down a window at a specific location. The display runs on the Android-based Mini Operating System 9.

While the overall body style remains in line with past designs, there are noticeable updates. The oval-shaped headlights now feature coordinated "welcome and goodbye animation" and "three adjustable light signatures." Additionally, the car's rear has been revamped with angular lights that can be personalized to suit the driver's preferences.
