Google has made a visual change to its Play Store by updating the accent color to blue throughout the app.
Previously, the Play Store used Dynamic Color in the search field, top tabs, and bottom bar. However, other areas of the app, such as listings, search results, and the "Manage apps & device" page, continued to feature the traditional green accent color.
With a recent server-side update, Google has replaced Dynamic Color with blue as the accent color in all parts of the app, except for the account menu which remains properly themed. This change suggests that Google is preparing for full adoption of Dynamic Color across the entire app, with blue being used as a temporary color during the transition.
In addition to the visual update, Google has also introduced a new feature called "Sync apps to devices," which allows users to sync their apps across different devices. This feature was initially tested in March and was previously available on tablets and Chromebooks. Now, it has been fully rolled out to all phones.
