Google makes Bard AI tool available to Google Workspace users

Google has announced that its Bard AI tool is now available for users with Google Workspace accounts.

The move comes after the tool was launched in March, but was initially only available to consumer accounts, and not Workspace users. However, Workspace admins can now enable Bard for their domains, after which those accounts will be able to access Bard like consumer accounts.

To turn access to Bard on, Google Workspace admins should switch in the Admin console under Apps > Additional Google services > Early Access Apps.

Although the waitlist for Bard still applies to Workspace accounts, Google says that Bard settings for managed accounts will be rolling out in the coming days under "Early access apps."
