WhatsApp has unveiled several updates aimed at enhancing user experience on the platform.

One of the major updates is the introduction of single-vote polls, which allows users to create a poll where people are only allowed to vote once. This new feature offers an alternative to the multiple-choice poll option that is currently available.

The messaging app also allows users to filter messages by polls, making it easier to find and track poll results. Users will also receive notifications when someone votes on their poll, and will be able to see the total number of votes.

Another update is the ability to forward media with captions.

Previously, users could only forward media without any added context. But with this new feature, users can now add captions to forwarded media, with the option to keep, delete, or completely rewrite them.

These updates follow WhatsApp's multi-device login support rollout, which allows users to access their accounts on more than one device. With the latest update, messages will be synced across devices, including other phones, allowing users to access the app on other devices even when one is switched off.

The new features are expected to roll out globally in the coming weeks.
