WhatsApp Introduces Customisable Avatars

The beta version of WhatsApp 2.22.23.9 for Android includes support for customisable avatars, WABetaInfo reports.

The new feature allows users to create their own avatars using the built-in editor. And it will be used to create a sticker pack with an avatar in different poses, just like in other Meta apps.

Avatars will appear in the app settings via the relevant section. For now, the new feature is only available to some beta users, as the company is rolling it out gradually.

The exact date when WhatsApp will roll out the feature to all users is not yet known.
