This feature enables users to share short videos up to 60 seconds with their contacts.

The addition is being tested by selected beta testers, with a wider rollout planned over the next few weeks.

To check if the video messages feature is available on your WhatsApp account, simply tap the microphone button in any chat. If it transforms into a video camera button, you can start recording video messages right away.

When sending or receiving a video message, users can zoom it by tapping on the video to listen to the audio.

Video messages are end-to-end encrypted, ensuring that only the participants in the conversation can access them. While forwarding video messages directly within the app is not possible, users can save them by screen recording since they are not sent using the view once mode.
