The first renders of Samsung's Galaxy Glasses, an AR headset whose development came to light some time ago, have leaked online.
The images show a device visually similar to offerings from Meta and Google. The leak also reveals that two versions of the glasses are in the works. The base model, codenamed Jinju, will ship without a built-in micro-LED display. A more advanced variant with a screen, codenamed Haean, is expected to follow later.
The headline feature is integration with Gemini. The glasses will be able to translate text, suggest routes through maps, take photos, and respond to queries — all through voice commands.

The first version is expected to go on sale in 2026, priced between $379 and $499. The micro-LED model may not arrive until 2027 and will cost noticeably more, up to $900.
This will be Samsung's second product on the Android XR platform, after last year's XR headset. The Galaxy Glasses are built around portability and daily use: a Snapdragon AR1 chip, around 50 grams of weight, a 155 mAh battery, a 12 MP camera (Sony IMX681), and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.3 support.
The renders also point to photochromic lenses and directional speakers, possibly with bone conduction audio.
