Details of Google’s upcoming Pixel 11 lineup have surfaced online, outlining the new Tensor G6 chip, updated camera hardware, and a series of broader design changes.
At the center is the next-generation Tensor G6 processor, built on Arm’s C1 architecture with a 1+4+2 core layout. It is paired with PowerVR C-Series CXTP-48-1536 graphics, a Titan M3 security chip, and a MediaTek M90 modem. Notably, Google is moving away from Samsung Exynos modems used in previous generations. The chip is also expected to include an updated tensor unit and a new GXP image signal processor.
The updated image processing hardware appears tied to planned camera changes. The base Pixel 11 is expected to feature a main sensor codenamed chemosh (likely 50 MP), which will also be used in the foldable Pixel 11 Pro Fold. The Pro and Pro XL models are said to include “bastet” and “barghest” sensors for the main and telephoto cameras. While exact specifications remain unclear, a camera upgrade would mark a notable shift for the Pixel lineup.
The standard Pixel 11 is expected to feature a 6.3-inch display (1080 × 2424) with a 60–120 Hz adaptive refresh rate, 240 Hz PWM, and peak brightness of 2200 nits. Battery capacity is at least 4,840 mAh, with 8 or 12 GB of RAM. Color options include black, green, pink, and purple.
The Pixel 11 Pro will keep a 6.3-inch display but increase resolution to 1280 × 2856, with a 1–120 Hz refresh rate, 240 Hz PWM, and peak brightness of 2450 nits. It will feature a 4,707 mAh battery and 12 or 16 GB of RAM.
The Pro XL model will offer a 6.8-inch display (1344 × 2992) with similar 1–120 Hz refresh rate, 240 Hz PWM, and 2450 nits brightness. Battery capacity increases to 5,000 mAh, with RAM matching the Pro version.
The foldable Pixel 11 Pro Fold is expected to include an internal OLED display (2076 × 2160) with a 1–120 Hz refresh rate and up to 2050 nits brightness. The external screen will have a resolution of 1080 × 2342, 60–120 Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 2450 nits. Battery capacity is at least 4,658 mAh, with 12 or 16 GB of RAM.
According to the leak, Google may remove the temperature sensor found in previous Pro models and introduce a new Pixel Glow lighting system integrated into the camera module, similar to the Glyph interface used by Nothing smartphones. The Project Toscana hardware face unlock system is not expected to appear in the Pixel 11 lineup.
The devices are expected to be announced in August, with a design similar to the Pixel 10 series.
