eBay unveils AI tool to generate product listings from photos

eBay aims to reduce the information entry barrier for new sellers, but it's receiving mixed feedback from long-time sellers regarding the quality and accuracy of the generated listings.

Amazon, Shopify, and other e-commerce platforms are also exploring AI-generated content to assist sellers in creating product listings. However, eBay's approach, which uses computer vision to analyze images, is raising concerns about accuracy and clarity among its user base.
