While the update 24.21.81 is now available, WhatsApp notes that the features will be gradually rolled out to users over the coming weeks.
The new widget allows users to quickly access their chats by adding the widget to their iPhone’s Home Screen. Once added, users can choose from options like Recents, Favorites, Pinned, or Frequently Contacted chats for easier navigation.
In addition to the widget, WhatsApp’s built-in camera now supports zoom levels from 0.5x to 3x, providing more versatility for users when taking photos or videos within the app.
Another feature included in the update allows users to mention others in their Status by using the @ button in the composer.
