OpenAI is testing a new ChatGPT app for Windows, currently available only to subscribers of ChatGPT Plus, Enterprise, Team, and Edu.
The app, downloadable from the Microsoft Store, allows users to interact with the AI-powered chatbot in a dedicated window, similar to its Mac counterpart. It supports file and photo uploads and includes a preview of OpenAI’s o1 model for advanced reasoning.
OpenAI plans to make the app available to all users later this year, following the release's current testing phase.
