Apple is reportedly planning to release its new M4-powered Macs in November, according to a recent report from MacRumors.

One of the most anticipated releases is the redesigned Mac mini, which is expected to feature a new design for the first time in 14 years.

The new model is rumored to drop support for USB-A ports in favor of five USB-C ports. Additionally, Apple is expected to make 16GB of RAM standard across all new Mac models, including the base model 14-inch MacBook Pro.

Other updates to the Mac lineup, including the iMac and MacBook Pro, are expected to be minor, focusing primarily on chip upgrades. The iMac accessories are also likely to switch to USB-C in compliance with the upcoming EU mandate.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports that suppliers are set to begin shipping standard M4 Mac mini models to warehouses this month, with the M4 Pro models following in October, indicating a likely early November release.
