Instagram doubles carousel post limit

Instagram users can now share up to 20 images or videos in a single carousel post, doubling the previous limit of 10.

This feature, which rolls out globally today, allows users to share more content in one post, reminiscent of the extensive photo-sharing days on Facebook in the late 2000s.

The carousel format, first introduced in 2017, has since evolved with features like deleting individual photos and adding music to posts.
