Tesla has paused deliveries of its Cybertruck due to a reported issue with the vehicle’s windshield wiper motor, according to comments from buyers on the Cybertruck Owners Club forum and Reddit. Some new owners have experienced wiper failures almost immediately after picking up their trucks.

While Tesla has not officially confirmed the problem or issued a recall, many customers with scheduled deliveries this week were notified that their pickup dates have been postponed by a week as the company addresses the issue.

This is not the first time Tesla has paused Cybertruck deliveries. Earlier this year, the company issued a recall for approximately 3,878 Cybertrucks due to faulty accelerator pedals that could become stuck. That issue was resolved with a relatively simple fix, allowing deliveries to resume shortly thereafter.

As Tesla works to resolve the current windshield wiper problem, affected buyers will have to wait a bit longer to get their hands on their new trucks.
