OpenAI, the creator of ChatGPT, has seen its annualized revenue soar to $3.4 billion, according to a new report by The Information.

The revenue boost comes primarily from subscriptions to ChatGPT, which offers higher messaging limits for users paying at least $20 a month, and from developers using OpenAI's language models in their own applications.
