A Tesla driver, Craig Doty II, narrowly avoided a collision with a moving train and is linking the incident to the automaker's Full Self-Driving mode, NBC reports.

While Doty acknowledges some responsibility, he asserts that the car failed to recognize the train, despite clear visibility.

Dashcam footage shared by Doty, along with an automatic crash report from Tesla, confirms that Full Self-Driving mode was active during the event but did not slow down the vehicle as it approached the railroad crossing.

Doty's story adds fuel to the ongoing litigation surrounding Tesla's driver assistance systems.
