Threads launches its own fact-checking program

Meta's newest social network, Threads, has initiated its own fact-checking program, transitioning away from relying solely on Instagram and Facebook's network for content verification.

Adam Mosseri, head of Instagram, announced that Threads recently implemented the ability for fact-checkers to rate and identify false content on the platform. However, specific details regarding the rollout timeline and partner organizations remain undisclosed.
