In an exciting partnership, design guru Jony Ive and OpenAI's Sam Altman are teaming up to create advanced artificial intelligence gadgets.

Tang Tan, a departing Apple executive, is joining Ive's design company, LoveFrom, to help craft the look and features of these cutting-edge devices. Altman will provide the essential software for the project.

Tan, who used to lead design for Apple's iPhone and watch products, will be in charge of the hardware side of things at LoveFrom. This collaboration is a big deal, especially since Ive left Apple in 2019. Even though the project is still in its early stages, they're actively recruiting talent and brainstorming ideas for innovative AI products, including ones designed for home use.

Tan's move from Apple is part of an ongoing trend, with many designers leaving since Ive's departure. On the flip side, LoveFrom keeps attracting former Apple employees and big clients. This AI project, led by Ive and Altman, is a significant step in creating the future of AI gadgets, marking LoveFrom as a go-to place for groundbreaking design ventures.
