Beeper ends iMessage battle with Apple, issues final fix for Android users

Beeper, in its ongoing battle with Apple over iMessage for Android, has issued one last fix, declaring an end to the 'cat-and-mouse game'.

The latest workaround involves pairing your mobile device with a Mac or an old iPhone, allowing users to update and reconnect. Mac users with Beeper Cloud can update, but not all macOS versions support the fix.

Alternatively, friends with a Mac and Beeper Cloud can share an iMessage registration code for the desktop app. For a more complex solution, users can jailbreak an old iPhone, install Beeper's tool, and enter the iMessage registration code.

The company does not plan any further action if this decision is blocked as well.
