Twitch launches stories for streamers to connect beyond live streams

Twitch is launching a new feature called "Stories" for its streamers, allowing them to connect with their audience even when they're not live.

Partners and Affiliates who have streamed for at least 45 minutes in the last 30 days can post stories that are viewable for 48 hours on the Twitch mobile app. Streamers with at least 30 subscribers can also post exclusive stories for their subscribers.

This feature aims to simplify communication with followers and eliminate the need for multiple platforms to keep the audience informed about streaming schedules.

Twitch plans to add more features to stories in the future, such as polls, tagging other streamers, and editing capabilities.
