YouTube is launching a new app called YouTube Create, aimed at making video creation more accessible for content creators.

This app offers a set of user-friendly and free tools designed for both short and long videos. It is supposed to solve common problems faced by creators, such as the editing process and access to creative resources such as stickers, GIFs and effects.

To use the app, creators can upload their video clips and then access a range of editing tools to craft their content. These tools allow them to preview, split, and trim clips while adding thousands of stickers, GIFs, and effects to enhance their videos.

One standout feature of YouTube Create is access to YouTube's extensive library of royalty-free music tracks, enabling creators to select suitable songs to accompany their videos. All the provided tracks are copyright-safe, allowing creators to monetize their videos without any concerns. The app also synchronizes the beats of the chosen songs with the video clips, a feature popularized by TikTok.

Additionally, YouTube Create offers audio cleanup tools to eliminate unwanted background noise, automatic caption generation that can be easily added to videos, and seamless export options to the creator's YouTube channel.

YouTube's YouTube Create app, initially available for Android, is launching in beta across eight global markets, including the United States, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, India, Korea, and Singapore. The company plans to expand the app's feature set and availability to more creators in the future.
