Google.org announces $20 million investment in AI research grants for think tanks and academia

Google.org, the charitable arm of Google, has launched the Digital Futures Project, a new initiative aimed at supporting AI research and public policy solutions.

The inaugural grantees of the Digital Futures Fund include prominent organizations such as the Aspen Institute, Brookings Institution, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, MIT Work of the Future, and others. Google intends to support organizations worldwide, emphasizing the global reach of its AI research initiatives.
