This multiyear, multibillion-dollar agreement focuses on the development of cutting-edge 5G radio frequency components, including FBAR filters, and advanced wireless connectivity components.

Notably, the FBAR filters will be designed and manufactured in key American technology hubs, with Fort Collins, Colorado, playing a prominent role due to Broadcom's major facility located there.

Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, expressed enthusiasm about this collaboration, emphasizing the company's commitment to harnessing the ingenuity and innovation of American manufacturing. He stated,

All of Apple's products depend on technology engineered and built here in the United States, and we'll continue to deepen our investments in the U.S. economy because we have an unshakable belief in America's future.

The partnership between Apple and Broadcom already contributes to the support of over 1,100 jobs at Broadcom's Fort Collins FBAR filter manufacturing facility. With the new agreement, Broadcom will be able to continue to invest in critical automation projects and provide professional development opportunities for technicians and engineers.

Apple's significant nationwide presence already supports more than 2.7 million jobs through direct employment, iOS app development and partnerships with more than 9,000 U.S. suppliers and manufacturers across industries in all 50 states.
