Orders from customers in countries that drive on the left side of the road, such as the UK, have been canceled.

Tesla has offered affected customers a refund, a credit toward a different model, or a left-hand drive version of the Model S or Model X.

This latest news comes as demand for the Model S and Model X continues to decrease, with many customers opting for new models from competitive startups like Rivian and Lucid or established brands like BMW, Mercedes, and Audi.

In 2022, Tesla built 71,777 Model S and Model X vehicles but could only sell 66,705, with the trend set to continue in 2023 as almost half of the 19,437 vehicles built in Q1 remain unsold.
