Shazam, the popular music identification app, has received an update that allows it to support Apple Music Classical on the iPhone.

This integration means that users can now open classical music tracks that they have identified using Shazam in the Apple Music Classical app, which offers over five million classical music tracks and is included with an Apple Music subscription.

The new feature is available in version 15.33 of the Shazam app, and users can access it by tapping the menu icon on the track page and selecting "Open in Classical."

Apple acquired Shazam in 2018 for $400 million, and has since integrated the music identification service across its software platforms. The new integration with Apple Music Classical further strengthens the relationship between the two apps and provides a more seamless experience for classical music fans.
