ChatGPT will help in finding a home to rent or buy

Zillow launches new ChatGPT plug-in for AI-powered home searches.

The plug-in, called Zillow ChatGPT, enables users to tell ChatGPT what type of property they are looking to buy or rent, including location, price, and bedroom count, and then collects listings from Zillow's database based on those criteria.

The plug-in is currently available to a select group of ChatGPT users, with broader access expected in the future.

Zillow's Chief Technology Officer, David Beitel, sees the immense potential in generative AI and hopes to develop more tech innovations with OpenAI in the future. This announcement comes after Zillow recently launched its own "natural-language search" feature, which allows shoppers to enter conversational phrases into the website's search bar to return results.

The ChatGPT plug-in is still in its alpha testing phase. Testers will provide feedback, and Zillow will continue to develop and improve the product to make it more useful for users.
