Xiaomi has officially introduced its second electric vehicle, the YU7 crossover. Sales are expected to start in June or July 2025.

The YU7 features dual electric motors: a 220 kW front motor and a 288 kW rear motor, totaling 508 kW (681 hp). The vehicle can reach a top speed of 253 km/h. Dimensions are 4999 mm in length, 1996 mm in width, and 1600 mm in height, with a 3000 mm wheelbase. The crossover weighs 2405 kg.

The battery for the YU7 is supplied by CATL, though its capacity remains undisclosed. The design resembles the Ferrari Purosangue, with a sleek body, a long hood, and curved window lines. Previously, Xiaomi’s SU7 sedan proved successful, surpassing 100,000 units sold by November 2024.

With the YU7, Xiaomi aims to solidify its position in the EV market and compete with brands like Tesla. The expected price range is between ¥250,000 and ¥350,000 (approximately $35,000 to $49,000).
