WhatsApp is now working on a new feature called 'Newsletter'

According to WABetaInfo, developers are experimenting with private newsletter tool for broadcasting information.

The feature was discovered in the messenger version 2.23.5.3 for Android devices. Experts specify that the function is currently at an early stage of development. Its release date is unknown.

The new feature is expected to enable people and organizations to share news with messenger users. According to a WABetaInfo, Newsletter will have no ads and no recommendation algorithms — all content will be shown in chronological order without priority.

The newsletters are not protected by end-to-end encryption, but the phone numbers of those users who create and subscribe to the newsletters will be hidden.
