Anthropic has filed for an initial public offering with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, with plans to list its Class A shares on Nasdaq under the ticker ANT.

The company has not yet determined how many shares it will offer or at what price.

  • Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley are leading the offering. The public filing follows a confidential draft submitted in June.
  • Revenue reached $16.3 billion in the first half of 2026, up from approximately $1.2 billion a year earlier, according to the filing.
  • Anthropic reported a net loss of $80.7 billion, largely reflecting noncash adjustments to the value of financing instruments, including convertible notes. Its operating loss was considerably smaller at $693 million.

The company has also committed hundreds of billions of dollars to multiyear agreements for computing capacity, servers, data centers and cloud services as it expands its AI infrastructure.

The offering could become the largest IPO on record, according to the Associated Press, though the amount Anthropic will raise remains undetermined.

Anthropic has not announced a trading date. The registration statement must become effective before it can sell shares through the public offering.
