After the temporary ban on TikTok in the United States, users have begun reporting signs of censorship.

According to Reuters, the changes affect live streams, posts, and search queries. Some content is being removed or flagged as violating guidelines, while search results appear restricted. Users have also reported receiving warnings about misinformation.

TikTok representatives stated that the company is working to restore the platform’s normal functionality but cautioned that temporary disruptions might impact some features.

TikTok was banned on January 19, disappearing from the App Store and displaying a notification about the enforcement of the law prohibiting the app in the U.S. However, access was restored 12 hours later after President Donald Trump pledged to allow the service to resume operations.
