In addition to a rumored foldable iPhone, Apple is reportedly working on a foldable 19-inch device, according to MacRumors.
Jeff Pu, a lead analyst at GF Securities, claims that Apple is currently developing foldable devices with 7.8-inch and 18.8-inch displays, with mass production expected to begin in late 2026 — putting a possible launch in 2027.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman previously reported that Apple is working on a 20-inch foldable iPad, with a target release in 2028. Analyst Ross Young has given a similar forecast, suggesting a 2026–2027 timeline.
Pu believes the upcoming foldable will be a hybrid between a MacBook and an iPad, featuring a touchscreen and macOS support — a view echoed by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. The Wall Street Journal has also reported that Apple is exploring a 19-inch foldable MacBook.
