NVIDIA has introduced two new AI-powered features in the Broadcast application, significantly improving both sound quality and webcam visuals.

The first feature, Studio Voice, allows a standard microphone to produce near-professional level audio. According to The Verge, this function delivers noticeable results: tests with a Logitech C922 webcam showed that the voice became clearer, louder, and richer in tone.

The second feature, Virtual Key Light, improves a user’s lighting in the frame, making it more even and visually appealing.

NVIDIA states that both features require an RTX 4080, RTX 5080, or RTX 5090 GPU. However, The Verge journalists successfully ran Studio Voice even on an RTX 3070.

In addition to these new functions, the updated Broadcast app includes tools for background noise removal, an eye contact effect that maintains natural gaze alignment, and a virtual background feature for sharper subject isolation from the surroundings.
