Meta has expanded Instagram NFT support to 100 countries in Africa, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and the Americas.

Meta launched NFT testing on Instagram in May 2022. Selected users in the US were allowed to post and exchange non-exchangeable tokens, and now support for the feature has expanded

Instagram NFT allows users to connect a digital wallet, share NFTs and automatically tag the creator and collector. NFTs can be shared in the main Instagram feed, in stories or in posts. NFTs will have a flicker effect when published and can display public information, such as description.

To make posting NFT easier, Meta has expanded the list of wallets and blockchains available. The social network currently supports Rainbow, MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet and Dapper Wallet wallets, as well as Ethereum, Polygon and Flow blockchains. There is no fee.
