Another key update: macOS Tahoe will be the last macOS version to support Intel-based Macs. Starting with the next release, updates will be exclusive to Apple silicon (M1 and newer).

Supported Macs for macOS Tahoe:

  • MacBook Air with Apple silicon (2020 and later)
  • MacBook Pro with Apple silicon (2020 and later)
