Japanese company Kawasaki has introduced Corleo, the world’s first robotic horse.
According to the company’s press release, Corleo stands on four stable legs. The rear legs are equipped with shock absorbers and move independently of the front legs using a motorcycle-style swingarm mechanism.
One particularly notable feature: Corleo runs on hydrogen. The fuel is stored in a tank inside the rear legs and processed by a hydrogen engine located in the front legs. Kawasaki hopes this innovation will help normalize hydrogen-powered mobility in everyday life.
