Analyst Ross Young has reported that the iPhone 15 range will get cutouts on the screen and Dynamic Island technology. The feature is currently exclusive to the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Young noted that the ProMotion display will not be available in all devices - the base models will still not be equipped with it. He said that the supply chain may not be enough to equip all models, and the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Max will have to be sacrificed.

Dynamic Island allows system alerts to be displayed for incoming phone calls, prompts when using Face ID, and will also work with Live Activities in third-party apps when iOS 16.1 is released.

Earlier, Young accurately predicted that the iPhone 13 Pro smartphones, as well as the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro, will have ProMotion. He also predicted that the sixth-generation iPad mini will have an 8.3-inch display, while the latest MacBook Air to date will have a slightly larger 13.6-inch screen.
