The tech giant has teamed up with design tool Figma to launch its first official design kit, offering a comprehensive set of resources for iOS 17 and iPadOS 17.

Apple's design kit for Figma includes a wide range of components, covering everything from Alerts to Widgets and more. It also provides templates for Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, Notification designs, tabbed apps, parent/child apps, split views, and sheets.

Additionally, designers will have access to a full dynamic type chart with accessibility sizes and a built-in collection of iOS system colors, materials, text styles, and vibrancy effects.

While the initial release focuses on iOS and iPadOS, Apple plans to expand the resources in the future. They will add libraries for macOS Sonoma, watchOS 10, tvOS 17, and visionOS, ensuring a comprehensive design experience across all their platforms.

Figma will be hosting its annual Config conference later this month in San Francisco. The two-day event takes place on June 21-22.
