AirPods Max shipping delays extend to 2-3 weeks

Supply of Apple's AirPods Max headphones, which are in high demand, is currently limited.

As per information available on Apple's website, it seems that the orders for AirPods Max are facing a backlog and are not expected to be fulfilled until mid-February. It appears that this shortage is affecting all the five color options of AirPods Max. As of now, if you order AirPods Max via the Apple Store Online, the estimated delivery date is between 7th February and 14th February. In case you want to get your hands on them earlier, you can check with nearby Apple Stores, but the availability in most major cities is also scarce at the moment.

The cause of the sudden shipping delays for AirPods Max is unclear. Despite some initial supply issues, the product has been readily available from both Apple and other retailers. It's possible that these delays could be a sign of an upcoming upgrade, as Apple typically releases new versions of their products within a year. However, according to well-known Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, a second generation of AirPods Max is not expected to be released until 2024.

It's possible that Apple is not planning a major update for the AirPods Max, but instead may be releasing new color options.
