Microsoft has announced a new feature in Windows 11: a built-in AI assistant capable of automatically adjusting system settings based on voice or text commands from the user.

The AI will be integrated into the "Settings" app and available on PCs that support Copilot+.

Users will only need to say or type something like, "How do I enable dark mode?" or "Make the cursor bigger" — and the system will not only find the right section but, if permitted, will apply the change on its own. This eliminates the need to manually search through complex menus.

The assistant is powered by natural language processing and can be launched via the search bar at the top of the settings window. The interface itself will remain unchanged — allowing users to continue manually configuring settings as usual. The new feature aims to simplify OS interactions for beginners and speed up routine actions for advanced users.
