Manchester-based startup Vsim, founded by former Nvidia engineers Michelle Lu and Kier Storey, has raised $21.5 million in seed funding to develop advanced physics simulation technology, with an initial focus on robotics training.

Backed by EQT Ventures, Samsung Next, and other investors, Vsim aims to create simulation frameworks that can operate in real-time, improving decision-making for robots in dynamic environments. With prior experience at Nvidia and Activision, the founders believe their technology has broad applications across industries, from manufacturing to entertainment.

This funding brings Vsim's total raised to $24 million, valuing the company at $100 million.
