YouTube is experimenting with a new feature that integrates Google Gemini to help creators brainstorm video ideas, titles, and thumbnails.

Announced on its Creator Insider channel, the "Brainstorm with Gemini" feature is currently available to select creators as part of a limited trial. A YouTube spokesperson told TechCrunch that the company will consider the feedback before deciding on a wider rollout.

The tool aims to give YouTube an edge over competing social media video platforms by offering unique AI-driven support. This aligns with Google's strategy to incorporate its AI tools into its video platform, encouraging creators to use them over alternatives like OpenAI’s ChatGPT.

While TikTok and Instagram focus on using generative AI for digital avatars, YouTube is leveraging the technology to enhance content creation.
