Apple is experiencing yet another departure from its longtime industrial design team, with Bart Andre, who has served at Apple for over three decades, set to retire this year.

This departure marks another significant loss for Apple's design legacy, as Andre is one of the last remaining team members who worked closely with former design chief Jony Ive to shape Apple's iconic design aesthetic.

Joining Apple in 1992 alongside Ive, Andre was involved in creating the design principles that defined Apple products during Ive's tenure. However, his retirement follows the departure of Evans Hankey in 2022, who previously served as Apple's vice president of industrial design after Ive's exit in 2019.

With Andre's departure, Apple now finds itself with only a handful of longtime designers remaining within the company.
