Motorola's upcoming Razr foldable: Leaked slide reveals its specs and US debut

Leaked marketing images shared by leaker SnoopyTech have revealed the potential features of the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra flagship foldable device, which is expected to hit the US market.

According to the leaked image, the Razr 40 Ultra is rumored to feature a massive 3.6-inch pOLED outer display with a high refresh rate of 144Hz. When unfolded, the device boasts a spacious 6.9-inch inner pOLED display.

The Razr 40 Ultra is said to be equipped with the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip, the same processor found in Samsung's flagship Galaxy devices. This chip was also featured in Motorola's 2022 version of the Razr, which was limited to China and Europe.

One notable advantage of the Razr 40 Ultra is its 3.6-inch outer display, which surpasses the screen size of competitors such as the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the Oppo Find N2 Flip. While the Galaxy Z Flip 4 offers only a 1.9-inch cover display, and the Oppo Find N2 Flip features a 3.26-inch outer display, the Razr 40 Ultra's larger outer screen could give Motorola an edge in the foldable market, at least in terms of size.

In terms of camera capabilities, the Razr 40 Ultra is rumored to sport a dual-camera setup on the rear, comprising a 12MP and 13MP lens, along with a 32MP front-facing camera for capturing stunning selfies.

Other leaked details suggest the device will come with 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, a 3,800mAh battery, and a convenient USB Type-C connector. Additionally, the leaked image showcases color options including black, "glacier blue," and magenta, providing users with stylish choices.

In addition to the Razr 40 Ultra, Motorola is expected to release a "Lite" version of the device with a smaller display surrounding only the cameras. Earlier leaks suggested that the new Razr could hit the market as early as June 1st, adding to the anticipation surrounding Motorola's upcoming foldable phone lineup.
