iOS 16.4 to Add Highly-Requested Emoji to its List

Apple has announced the addition of 31 new emoji designs to iOS 16.4, which includes the much-awaited plain pink heart emoji.

The pink heart has been a highly requested addition, according to Emojipedia, which named it one of its top requests in 2015. Other new designs include a new smiley, a shaking head, new animals such as a moose and a goose, and new heart colors like light blue.

All of the new designs come from Unicode's September 2022 recommendation list, Emoji 15.0. However, there is no official word yet on when these new emoji will be available on all iOS devices.

Apple has recently released bug fixes and patches with the release of iOS 16.3.1, and previously added 37 new designs in iOS 15.4 last year.
