It has released its first major update for 2023.

SmartGym, the fitness app available on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch, had a successful year in 2022 with significant updates and even earned an Apple Editors’ Choice Award.

The latest version of SmartGym can now be downloaded from the App Store, boasting seven major new additions and changes, including user-requested features, redesigned workout routines and exercises, the new Monthly Summary, updated and new App Shortcuts, integration of the "Up Next" feature, and a new widget.

Another major change in SmartGym 6 is a complete redesign of both workout routines and exercises. The introduction of the Muscle Fatigue tool, which allows users to see how tired their muscles are after a workout or how much a routine will require from them, has now been brought to the main screen.

"We're excited to bring the muscle fatigue tool to the main screen in SmartGym 6. It makes it easier for users to see how much a workout routine will require from their muscles. And the redesign of exercises makes it more convenient to identify each exercise within a routine", said the SmartGym team.

In addition to the new Monthly Summary, SmartGym 6 also introduces a new Monthly Workouts widget, which makes it easy to monitor progress and stay motivated. The widget comes in three different sizes and can be placed on the Lock Screen and Home Screen for easy access.

In conclusion, additional heart rate ranges have been added for each workout, and the "Up Next" widget, which was previously popular, can now be found on the main screen of the SmartGym app. SmartGym is available for free on the App Store for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac. However, the Premium plan must be purchased to access all of the app's features.
