DAFZ to Present Its Metaverse at GITEX 2022

Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZ), part of the Dubai Integrated Economic Zone Authority (DIEZ), plans to announce the launch of its metaverse called METADAFZ at GITEX 2022.

METADAFZ should attract foreign direct investment (FDI) and businesses to the free zone. According to DAFZ, it will allow customers from all over the world to hold virtual meetings, offering a unique and semi-realistic experience regardless of physical location.

METADAFZ will provide an innovative, and world-class experience that will take the free zone’s offerings to the next level. The metaverse experience is set to attract new clients and foreign businesses, in addition to creating new investment opportunities and enhancing the business framework,

said Bader Buhannad, Chief Corporate Support Officer, DIEZ.

The launch of this metasite is in line with Dubai Metaverse Strategy, which aims to create 40,000 virtual jobs by 2030 and supports the government's vision of increasing the number of blockchain-based companies.
