Mohammed Bin Rashid Global Endowment Consultancy Centre (MBRGCEC) has launched the “Bread for All” initiative where underprivileged families and workers in Dubai can get free bread through vending machines, WAM reports.

The digital initiative is carried out with the help of smart machines installed in several outlets. They cook the bread and provide it for free as part of a modern and sustainable charity model.

The project is in line with Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's vision of zero hunger in the UAE. He stressed at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic:

In the UAE, no one sleeps hungry or in need.

Vending machines located in 10 Aswaaq branches across Dubai – in Al Mijar, Al Warkaa, Myrdif, Nadd Al Asheba, Nadd Al Hamar, Al Qusa and Al Badaa.

Anyone can help underprivileged families and workers provide themselves with a portion of bread through monetary donations. This can be done through vending machines, online or by contacting the organisers directly.
