New Golden Visa Perks

Back in April, The UAE Cabinet announced a new set of executive regulations regarding the Golden Visa. They will come into force in September 2022 with some new perks added.

The new rules will allow the Golden Visa holder to sponsor their family members, including spouse and children, regardless of their age, and to sponsor support services (domestic) labourers without limiting their number.

Furthermore, now one does not have to check the number of days they stayed in the UAE in order to keep their Golden Visa valid. The restriction related to the maximum duration of stay outside the UAE has been removed.

In case of death of the Golden Visa holder, his family members will be allowed to stay in the UAE until the end of their permit duration.

Recently, the UAE also announced that Golden Visa holders would receive an exclusive government-issued discount card that has been previously available only to some government employees. The Esaad card will give Golden Visa holders exclusive access to offers and discounts to thousands of businesses across 92 countries.
