Samsung has announced a strategic partnership with AI search engine Perplexity. The new AI agent will be integrated into the Galaxy S26 series, which the company is set to unveil on February 25, 2026.

Users will gain access to an intelligent search assistant designed to deliver a more seamless and personalized device experience.

Perplexity will go beyond search features, operating at the system level to provide contextual suggestions, reminders, and task assistance. Integration with Samsung Notes, Calendar, Gallery, and other apps is expected to streamline multitasking.

Users will be able to access Perplexity via the voice command “Hey, Plex” or by pressing the smartphone’s side button. The interaction will be customizable based on individual preferences.

Samsung plans to expand Perplexity integration across more devices and services in the future, alongside new capabilities developed with external partners.
