Phone Link app by Microsoft enables to use iMessage from a Windows device

New option is currently available as an early preview for a small percentage of Insiders only.

The upcoming update will let iPhone users pair their devices with a Windows laptop or PC so that iPhone users could exchange messages and calls, manage notifications inside Windows 11. The connection is performed via Bluetooth.

However, the features are limited. For example, the app will not support replying to group messages or sending media in messages.

The messages will be displayed in a simplified form. The history will not be available, there will only messages sent through Phone Link.

If you are in the preview, on the Phone Link homepage there will be an addition iPhone button. By clicking it and following the instructions you will be able to pair your iPhone. The preview is unavailable if the iPhone button is greyed out with a coming soon message.

We will increase the availability of the preview to more Insiders over time and based on feedback we receive with this first set of Insiders. The preview will require Phone Link app version 1.23012.169.0 and higher but the preview itself be controlled via the cloud.
